Service Light Reset 850 1996

Actually, the service light doesn't mean much, it goes on every so many miles to remind you to service the vehicle. The check engine light is when you're throwing codes and something is malfunctioning. Unfortunately, many places have the reset tool to reset the check engine light. Volvo itself has to reset the service light. Most dealers will do it for free as it takes a second or two to do it.
