Acc control unit? 850 1993

My heater blower went totally quiet for a few days ago. First I checked the blower it was working fine. Then I assumed that the problem was in the resistor pack or relay and went to the store and oredered those parts. While waiting, I noticed that the power from the control unit is allso off( no ligts) and started to wonder has it allso gone bad. Can anyone explain where the unit gets it power. Has it got a separate power unit? or if it is dead does it mean that there is no hope left? The fuses are ok.
