Service Light Reset 850 1996

The 96's require a service light reset tool that plugs into the OBD2 socket in the console. IPDUSA.COM sells one for $175 or you can go to a mechanic. Some parts stores also will do the reset. Same deal for the check engine light. To reset the check engine light, you will need to read each service code once via an OBD2 diagnostics reader. If you hook your battery, you will create more hassles like trying to reenter your radio code.
