Lights. P0705 code..... 850 1996

The OBDII code P0705 simply means your gear position sensor is out of adjustment and is sending erroneous signals to the computer. Has your transmission ever been pulled out of the car? Weird that this sensor plate would be out of adjustment without ever being disturbed from something like pulling the tranny out... But the P0705 code is referring to your PRND or Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive sensor plate out of adjustment. Its a pain in the ass how smart they've made these cars over the past few years. Go through the drill of readjusting the sensor plate and the code should clear (due to removing the battery cable during the process....). Good luck ....... Mike
