I Just Traded My 240 in for a V70.... V70-XC70

Hello All,

I just traded my 89 240 in for a 99 V70, NA engine and fwd. So far, its been a little over a week, I really love this car. It has 50,000 miles on it, and the previous owner seemed to take excellent care of it. Unfortunately, I do not have all of its' past service records, and this bothers me a little. But, so far, so good... Anyway, I was an avid reader of the 240 forum, but am a newbie to the V70 and FWD/AWD forums, and I was wondering what people think in general of this car. I've seen a few troubling posts about electrical issues. Is this a big problem in the V70 series as a whole? What about engine and transmission issues. Do you all feel this family of engines is as "reliable" as those of years past? I appreciate any opinions/input, this iis the first non-240 that I have owned, and so far I like it alot.

Thanks,
Mike
