Blinking Climate Control Lights

When I started my car (98 S70 T5) this morning, I noticed the orange lights on the recirculate air button and the "AC Off" button were blinking. After about 30 - 45 seconds they returned to their normal state. This is the first time I have noticed them blinking. Does this indicate a problem?
