Help, Help on the wiper system 850 1995

I went to change my wiper blades today, follow Bay 13's advice to "cover the final 1/3 of the windshield." However, I decided to remove the wiper arm assembly from the post that connects it to the motor to check it. It's all stripped out???????????????????????? Yep, all stripped. Looks like the previous owner had kept tightening the bolt down to keep enough friction to keep the arm and blade from slipping.

I need advice. DO I have to replace the entire motor assembly and arm since it appears both parts are "keyed" to fit? Or is there another solution (double sided tape, locking washers, locking glue?) out there?

Please assist. It's the drivers side and I'm waiting for a snow storm or rain storm for it to quit working so I can't see while driving......
