Timing belt replacement on Sept. 98 build T-5 S70

I read in a previous thread that serial #s 1266128 and higher call for a 105,000 mile service interval per SB 2210015. Since my car only has 53,100 miles on it to date I am having second thougths about age of the belt rather than mileage. Any experiences out there?
