I think you might look at a subscription to www.alldatadiy.com.
It gives you lots of technical info and access to the technical
service bulletins. This info will help you keep an eye on
trouble areas (which is one of the things the good dealer
technicians do). I have it for my 98 S70 and it is worth the
initial $25 and then $15/year.
