Recirculating Pump - wont shut off. 850

My battery drained overnight because the recirc pump was going all night... First, I wouldn't expect that circuit to be "on" when the engine isn't running ... Second, what would cause it to stay on? A frozen switch? (where would the switch be?) I have pulled the power from the pump for the time being ..

any guesses?
