Help! Can't stop SEVERE Brake Chatter. ABS-Tracs related? 850

Our 1997 850 GLT Wagon (147,000 mi.) has developed SEVERE brake chatter in the rear brakes once they are warm. My husband replaced the rear pads (which only lasted about 10,000 miles and were very worn) and put on new rotors. The front has new pads and rotors. We thought this would solve the problem but no such luck. It seems as though the back brakes are doing more work, therefore excessive load and wear. Any ideas on how to fix? We have bled the brake lines. I do have the ABS-Tracs light coming on and off like most other people report here. Very occassionally I will get a weird lifting feeling in the brake pedal and a front end noise. Don't know what that is either. Just want to make sure we've exhausted all the options before shelling out $500+ for the ABS Module. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
