2000 S80 T6 Lessor looking to but in 60 days S80

I have a 2000 S80 T6 and it has 48,000 miles on it. I am interested in purchasing it, but the residual value is, in my opinion, out of wack. It was set at $27,000. The MSRP on the vehicle was $45,000, it was purchased for $41,500. I have done some research and the market on these cars has dropped significantly. I think a reasonable buyout is 21K to 22K. The car is with Volvo Finance - do they negotiate? I love the car, it has great exceleration, a smooth ride and is extrememly conformatble, but I am not willing to pay 27K.

Help - looking to stay a Volvo owner.
