Won't start 850 1994

No it hasn't started since. About 2 years ago the camshaft position sensor failed. It was replaced and we happily motored along until now. The only
code displaying is 315 for the evap system. Will a failed cam position sensor
always produce a fault code? There is spark & lots of fuel in the cylinder.
The timing belt was replaced about 80,000 kilometers ago. Could it have jumped
a cog or two ?
