maintenance suggestions S70 1999

If you plan to take care of your car yourself, I reccomend that you get a Haynes manual. Their maintenance section has a pretty good write-up on what you should do to care for your car.

If your car is still under warranty, I do not understand why you would not have your dealer service it. You should seriously consider having a dealer check the car out several thousand miles before the warranty runs out. Get the car repaired at Volvo's expense. I am planning on having my cars run through Volvo's certification process plus a compression test before their policies run out.
I pay about $150 for a written evaluation. Money well spent in my opinion.
