Volvo windshield liner (molding) V70-XC70 1998

I have 1998 V70 and top rubber windshield liner (molding) just came off. I went to the dealership and they said that they have to take off windshield glass completely out and put new part in which is will be very expensive. What should I do? Is there any other way?
