New style strut mounts? 850

I replaced my front right strut mount 6 months ago because the rubber casing was torn through and the front end was squeaking on bumps. Now this new six month old mount and my original front left mount casing is broken. I looked on the IPD site, and it states that the original strut mount was improved to reduce the chances of spliting. Is there a way to identify the new and improved strut mount if reordered from Volvo? Is there a better source for these parts versus the dealer and/or IPD?
