Regarding AUT settings on A/C S40-V40 2001

Your observation on foggy windows is the same as mine. When lightly fogged, a notch or two seems to be ok, but for heavier fogging, straight up works best. I have played with the center two airflow dials also, but if it is cold, your bottom half gets cold also. I would be interested in the replies also.
As for a/c, when everything is in auto, the compressor cycles with temp requirements only.
