S60T vs 850T

The deal is halfway done. I'm going to sell my 95 850T (112K) to my brother and I'm thinking about getting either a 2003 or 2004 S60T. What major differences are there (will I be disappointed with the 197hp vs the 225hp of the 850)? What maintenance issues might I have with the S60 compared to the 850? The 850 has been a real pain. Should I wait for the 2004 - will there be any significant differences from the 2003? Lastly, does volvo have any kind of "bumper to bumper" warranty? I've heard a lot of talk about their warranty that will pay for parts, but not for labor, etc. I want to protect myself from the evaporator woes of the 850's.
