Ford didn't do this. It is great fun to blame them for everything that ever went wrong, but Volvo was doing this all along. As they should. As McDonalds does, and as you would, too if somebody started using your name for something that you didn't authorize.

We got permission at Volvo Club of America 20 years ago to use Volvo's name. We still have the letter, it is our greatest asset. Personally, I'm glad they do such a great job of following up on unauthorized use of their name.
