V70 GLT - really harsh ride V70-XC70 1998

My wife has been complaining for a few months about the harsh ride of our '98 V70 GLT. I finally took it in and the dealer found that the front struts were leaking and the mounts broken. Everything was replaced, I had new tires put on (Bridgestone Turanza, stock size), we got the car back, and the ride doesn't seem all that much better!

The shop suggested kicking the tire pressure down to 25-26 psi all around to soften the ride, but that makes me a little uneasy.

Any other ideas out there, or is a ride like a pickup truck just the nature of the beast?

Thanks.

-Marc
