mbc what is the max boost for 850r 850 1996

It depends on what all you have done to your car, and how long you want it to last. Is it bone stock? Do you have an ECU, Downpipe, Cat-back?

If its stock, I'd be conservative and keep it around 12-13.
If you have some mods, you can boost more safely, maybe up to 15-16.

Take it slow when setting it up, get a boost gauge so you can read it in PSI rather than the stock gauge.

Go over to Volvospeed.com and search on MBC's, there are a few discussions over there that may be enlightening.
