Transmission question, Newbie to the 850 Forum 850

Hey Bricksters,

I have looked on Edmunds.com and a couple of other web sites and have gotten mixed results.. i currently own a 88 760 the automatic has 3 gears plus overdrive. What type of transmission does the 850 have 4 gears and a overdrive or 3 like my 760 with an overdrive? I am thinking about purchasing a 94 850 Turbo that has recently had the air compressor/evaporator, brakes, some type of abs something, and timing belt replaced. The car has 150K on it. I have test drivin it but didnt think to think about the tranmission shifting.. I was just WOWED by the power and quietness of the engine. Anyone who responds I thank in advance!
