Hi just put spoiler on my 96 850 from spoiler depot, nice nice nice. we had to drill the holes, the nice thing is the holes are all mostly on the outside of the weather stripping around the trunk, less chance of leaks, the only hole we had to put in the trunk was for the brake light. so far no leaks. I had it painted, matched perfectly. I think it will be fine on your 850, the trunks are all basically the same. the shape that is. good luck, I was very happy with mine, kelly
