93 850 rough idle 850

These are generally extremely smooth-running, bullet-proof engines. I would suggest two things (1) REPLACE YOUR AIR FILTER (2) ADD A CAN OF BG FUEL ADDITIVE/CLEANER TO YOUR GAS TANK AND RUN THE LINING HELL OUT OF THE CAR. You probably have excessive carbon deposits on your valves/ports. Maybe you should do a compression check of each cylinder. Good luck! I am convinced, even with all the doom and gloom on this wonderful forum, that these are good cars; especially the engines. They are also very comfortable, practical cars. My 1993 has 170,000 on the odometer and runs perfect - smooth as a baby's ass!
