850 intercooler 850 1994

I have a bad intercooler. My wife hit a curb pretty hard and now the intercooler doesn't hold enough pressure to cool the air much. The dealer said the part was $750.00 and the laber was another $100.00. Has anyone replaced one. Is this something I can do at home if I can find the part cheaper? I work on my other cars so why not this one too.
