Keep her or sell her? Opinions needed! 850 1996

Sell. I agree with the other gentlemen and think your car is 'bent'. It also seems you are averaging about 16,500 miles per year of driving and thus you need a car that is reliable and economical. If you want to stay with Volvo's see earlier post (can't remember date) about which year was the best for the 850's. Also, some shops like Midas will charge you once for brake pads and that's it. All future pads are free. Additionally, you did not mention replacing the timing belt at 70k miles. If you did, great. If not, then that will be an added expense and/or issue that will come later.
