Yeah that sounds like the early stage of O2 sensor failure. It can be other than a carbon buildup causing the sensor to flag and if you got more than a 100k out of them treat yourself to some new ones. They are about $115 apiece and you probably need two, the one in front of the converter and the one aft of the converter. I would check with www.FCPGroton.com and just order them from there online, they are major Volvo parts supply house. They are heated sensors thats why they cost so much. Good luck ........ Mike
