difference between GLT / GLE 850 850

In U.S. market the GLT's get a turbo starting in model
year 97. Thats probably the difference.

In other markets there are different engines available that
might explain different numbers you see.
For example, Canada has a 10 valve version of the 5 cylinder
available and it has less power then the 20 valve which have less
then the turbo models, etc. There are even 2.0 liter versions
in some areas.

The question of adding a turbo comes up often and the
general concensus is it is cheaper to sell your car and buy
one with the turbo. (There are internal engine mods and many
other differences on turbo engines to consider.)
