Duplicate Keys for '98 V70 V70-XC70 1998

Chuck,

There are a lot of locksmiths in san diego that cut these keys for about 10.00 plus key.

If you have to get one from dealer you should probably get the lock cylinder while your at it. Costs about 65.00 but comes with 3 keys. These cylinders are notorious for failing. A costly, timely job to drill out. Best to replace while you can still turn key. About a 20 min. job. Remove plastic housing around lock. Turn key to position II, on top of cylinder housing is a small hole, insert a "paper clip" to push down brass release and pull lock out. New lock justs pushes straight in and lock into place. Goo luck. Joe
