850 CV joint clunking? It's a possible purchase, opinions?

I am test driving a 96' 850 sedan for a few days for possible purchase. All is well except a minor clunking when I go over bumps. Would this be the CV joints? The boots look fine looking down from the engine compartment. This is an extremely clean dealer serviced (every 5k) middle aged woman owned car with 77k miles, asking price is $10,995, any opinions on the price? Thanks!
