Tracs Noise? 850

With the recent snowy winter, I've kept the Tracs on. When pulling away from a stop light i felt the system working with a buzzing noise, Is this normal, i could feel it was working, there wasnt slip, I'm just wondering if the noise is normal. I assume it is (no lights and no slip), but want to be sure.
