850 stereo has punch, S70 doesn't....why? S70

I am no audiophile either. I kind of figured there is a problem with this S70 stereo. I checked all speakers and they all seem to be working.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got my 850 all those years ago and found a great stereo. I was disappointed with the S70 stereo but figured I would ask around the S70 community for inside information before bringing it in to the dealer. I was just hoping for a fix as I'd rather not replace it with aftermarket.
