MAF SENSOR, CAN IT BE CLEANED? HOW TO TELL IF IT IS GOING BAD 850

I have a similar surging at full boost (ipd box) and I have been tripping codes for the front O2 sensor. I'm going to try the MAF mod and see if it helps.

Oh, btw, the MAF is located just downstream of the air filter. It's the round plastic piece that bolts to the air filter housing. The plug in question is on top of it. If you're a DIYer, you could change the MAF in less than 30mins.
