Koni vs Bilstein for 850T Wagon 850 1995

The time has come to replace the shocks on my 95 850 Turbo wagon - looking for subjective opinions on Bilstein vs Konis? I drive a mix of undulating country roads and highway and am currently leaning towards Koni due to the number of rim busting potholes here in CT/NY and want to retain some mix of ride/control. I've heard Koni's offer a more "luxurious" ride while Bilstein offers more sport and high speed control??
