windshield upper trim strip 850

The spousal unit's 855 has a rubber trim strip at the top edge of the windshield which is reluctant to stay in place. Possibly all the ice and snow this winter gave it more reason to get displaced. Is there some trick to installing this properly, and do I need an adhesive of some sort?
