thank you both for your opinions they are greatly appreciated I have become familiar with the car thanks to the brickboard and i do feel comfortable with doing the job but did not want to start anything till i was clear in what exactly was to be done and no one will spend the time an owner is prepared to to fix even minor problems

i plan on buying the ob scanner also they are on sale at canadian tire this week

btw the car is a 98 and has the hydraulic tensioner as shown in bay 13

and because i have started doing everything myself with this car people can't believe the condition it is still mint

roofing is simple especially whatching guy's with 20 years experiance under thier belt
