CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON 98 V70 AWD R V70-XC70 1998

Thanks guys for the help. I tried an idea a buddy gave me. He said disconnect the battery for an hour, then reconnect the battery. That cleared the CEL, but now I have to reprogram the radio. So I went find the card Volvo gives the car's new owner. I did such a good job of putting the card in a safe place , now I can't find the card..I'm hoping that I just got a bad tank of gas or it is only the gas cap.Now if I can only find my card...............
