Own a 1995 855 and a 98 S70 T5. So, yep, bought a second one.

Sales taxes, insurance and gas are the major expenses (even with
the common repairs having been made to both). Buying used you
dodge most of the depreciation costs.

Rough costs of first 40K miles on the 1995:

1. 5 Years Auto Insurance: $3250.00

2. CA Sales Tax (8.25%, 1 time at purchase): $2558.00

3. 5 Years CA Vehicle Registration: $2530.00

4. Fuel (40K miles): $2272.00

5. Maintenance and repairs: $1332.00
