1993 850 trans code 223

well heres my problem, im getting a 2-2-3 code in the transmission ecu and its intermittent and inconsistent. I removed the throttle housing and cleaned it and replaced the throttle switch, i also replaced the gear position sensor (pnp switch). while i was working down there and checking all the wiring, i found a worn through battery cable with exposed wiring and heavy elecrolisis so i replace the positive cable. But i still get the code after about 4- 5 days,im confused why im not getting a code in my fuel computer. using the factory manual i went step by step, i cant find any other problems. has anyone ever seen this.
