Respect your techs and they will respect your cars and you

Points well taken. I would also ask that the tech,

1. Treat my car as if it were a new car. Keep greasey fingerprints off the interior leather and carpeting.

2. Torque my wheel bolts properly. I have to check the torque on my own each and every time I get my wheels rotated and they are never correct. Actually, that is the exact reason I now do my own rotations.

3. When the rotation is done, readjust my tire pressures accordingly. (see previous request about wheel torque).

4. Take care to tighten any other bolts when you are done. For example, when my wiper stop recall was done, the headlight was loose in its housing afterwards. When I had my camshaft position sensor replaced, one of its hold down bolts was so loose it almost came off in my fingers. If I can find these problems after the tech services my car, what else did he do poorly?

I shouldn't have to double check the tech's work each and every time I bring my car in to be serviced. I know my car will have service issues. Correct the issues the first time properly and the tech will get more respect.
