Respect your techs and they will respect your cars and you

Seriously, all that VCNA can do is "shake a finger" at a manager/owner and/or "talk tough". Let's see, they'll deny warranty claims and a few other tricks of the trade but there's not much more that they can do. Why? It takes ALOT of money to own a dealership (serious deep pockets) and not just anyone can afford to buy a car franchize. Believe it or not, most manufacturers are LUCKY to have someone with the the finances who WANTs to sell their product and they know that too. Not every car dealer owner would want to have a Volvo franchize for example.

I've been in several dealers that did eventually fail because it became evident to the customers that the owners/employees lacked what's necessary to get/keep good customers. The place I'm now at is better than some but far from perfect. Some of us try to we can only do so much too if and when our hands are tied or we're directed by bad management. It's a strange business.
