Clutch alternatives? S70 1999

A while back, before my beloved '98 S70 T5 was totaled, I managed to get the throwout bearing replaced UNDER WARRANTY! It was making a fun little rattling noise which the first dealer tried to pass off as noisy lifters. I took it to another dealer in the area, immediately was told it was a throwout bearing. They even offered to put in a new clutch for the price of parts only (300 dollars) as they had to drop the tranny to replace the bearing anyways. What this adds, I'm not exactly sure, but if your cars are under warranty it's worth a try?

Good Luck!
