Bosch Idle Control Valve to slove rough idle 850

posted by  someone claiming to be 93 & 97 850's on  Wed Apr 9 05:39 CST 2003 [RELATED]

My 93 850 with 96k on it has a rough idle problem,
to date I have replaced the following items:
spark plugs (volvo brand)
wires (bosch)
rotor (bosch)
cap (bosch)
fuel filter
air filter,
flame trap,

cleaned throttle body
fuel injector cleaner

Now I may try a new idle control valve, will this help??? or am I blowing
money.

also I can hear a hiss coming from the area of the idle control valve,
all the elbow and hoses look ok

any tips would be great
