Antenna S70

All you electrical gurus...I need advise on patching in a switch to either prevent the antenna from raising when CD is playing or limiting the height of the antenna when it is raised for radio use. I have the model 816 radio/CD/cassette player. It appears I need a switch spliced into the power source feeding the antenna control box (in the trunk at the red, red/green, black wire cluster) to eliminate any power to the antenna...this could be spliced directly off the back of the radio as well. Then a separate switch to the antenna motor ( red & white wires) that still allows power to the control box but cuts power only to the antenna motor to limit the antenna height. Does anyone know which wire to splice into in either case? Will cutting power in either instance cause an electrical problem?

Anyone know what the 8-pin and blade type connectors are for that are bundled with the left tail light wiring harness and left exposed near the antenna motor? Are they for a multi-CD changer? Thanks for assistance.
