How Did I Blow Up My Caliper? SCARRY !

I think the original tech screwed something up. The clue being he
told you to keep an eye on the left caliper. There really isn't
anything that needs to be "tightened" up when you replace
the pads. I'm also wary since they wanted to cut/turn the rotors.
Volvo rotors are normally not turned -- just replaced (I understand
this is typical for many european cars). I think they messed up.

By the way, as a test, I slam on my brakes about once a month to the
point where the ABS engages and stops the car (from about 40 mph).
Thats never caused any problems (imagine the liability issues if it did).
