Long Trip 850 1995

Bring:

--socket for the thermostat in the radiator hose, socket wrench with sockets
--a couple of screwdrivers, phillips and standard
--electrical tape
--duct tape
--some common size wrenches
--a good knife
--a gallon of antifreeze
--pliers or vise grips
--additional roadside insurance coverage-about $1.50 for the trip
--Flares and a good flashlight
--first aid kit
I may have forgotten something?

Same basic kit I took when I drove 3000 miles to Phoenix and back to Denver. By the way, even if it is up to date, I would still take it in and have someone do a once over on it just to be sure, and tell them you are going on this trip and to check it for you. I did it with our cars and the mechanics were happy to oblige. It is better to be safe than sorry.

Have a safe journey!

Rick in Denver
