Long Trip 850 1995

Good suggestions.

I'd add a full-size spare tire, Torx drivers, fuses, locking gas cap and a locking or keyed lug nut per wheel. I'd also install some of the plastic stick-on headlight protector stuff. A spare lamp would also be in my kit. I don't know how the gas is where you'll be but throw in a gas filter and what ever is needed to replace one.

I always overpack when it comes to tools and spares but I've never been sidelined.

I'd certainly have the car checked out before you leave. Don't forget to have the brakes inspected and if any pads are near the end, have them replaced. You don't want grinding brakes in Mexico.

Have a great trip!
