97 850 evaporator

I bought my 850 GLT wagon in 97 new form the dealer. This car has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. At 62K it has had one out of warranty repair that cost me $20. I have maintained this car to the letter with oil changes every 3K. After reading this site for about a month my question is how many of you with 97s have had evaporator problems? Did the evaporators improve at all in the 850s run? Those of you in the know can tell me what to expect. Thanks in advance.
