Cleaning the throttle body 850

Hello Januszbo,

When you apply force to you accelorator, does the pedal feel sticky as it progress's down? If it does your car would benefit from a good cleaning.
Simply loosen the clamp to the hose connected to the throttle body and pull away. Have some throttle body cleaner handy. I was told not to use anything but this type cleaner or I would risk losing an o2 sensor. Open throttle and spray generously down into the air intake. An old toothbrush works well to slosh that stuff around and really clean that area well. Reassemble hose\clamp. Start the car to run that cleaner through.

Bird.
