Moonroof interior panel -- out of tracks, wont go back 850 1994

The interior upholstered panel on the ceiling of my sedan won't go back. I do remember accidentally pushing it one time and heard it "click" out of the track on the passenger side. Now it will go back using the powered moonroof button to retract the glass into the back, but i cannot push it back by hand when using the moonroof as a "popup" sunroof option.

Any advice on how to get it back into the track? without disassembling the whole system?
